In “Square Up,” Pastor John Davis challenges believers to wake up to the reality of spiritual warfare—the enemy’s intentional attempts to oppose, inhibit, and hinder God’s agenda for His people. Drawing from 2 Corinthians and Ephesians, he reminds us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. Satan works subtly, often through distraction, diverting our focus from our faith and purpose.
Pastor John warns that just because you aren’t fighting against it, doesn’t mean it’s not fighting against you. He emphasizes the importance of discernment and knowledge, referencing Hosea 4:6: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” If we don’t know the Word, we can wrongly divide it, leading to confusion and defeat.
The call to action is clear: Square up. Be alert. Be equipped. We must stay rooted in truth, resist the enemy’s schemes, and stand firm in the authority God has given us.
