This sermon reminded us of the power and importance of asking for help and trusting God to provide it. Drawing from Mark 9:17-24, we reflected on the desperate father who pleaded with Jesus to heal his son. Even in his struggle with doubt, he cried out, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” This honest plea showed that even when our faith feels weak or incomplete, Jesus responds with compassion and power. The father’s willingness to ask for help opened the door for his miracle.
