I Get God, God Gets Me to Fight

In “I Get God, God Gets Me to Fight,” we saw that our battles are not fought with worldly weapons but with the divine power of God (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). His power destroys strongholds, tears down arguments, and brings every thought into obedience to Christ.

Jacob’s wrestle with God (Genesis 32:24-30) shows us what it means to fight with faith—holding on, refusing to let go, and coming out transformed. Like Jacob, we may walk away with a limp, but we also walk away blessed, renamed, and victorious. When you get God and know He gets you, you have the strength to fight and overcome.
