The Power Point of the Pain

Scripture: John 12:9-13, John 11:1-7, 35
“The Power Point of the Pain” teaches that pain is not a sign of God’s absence, but often a part of His divine process. Through the story of Lazarus, we see that even those who are loved by God can experience delay, loss, and confusion—yet God is still working with purpose. Jesus intentionally waited, allowing pain to unfold so that a greater miracle could be revealed, showing that what looks like death is not beyond His power. Pain creates a pause that can lead to transformation, growth, and ultimately God’s glory. The message reminds us that God’s love is still present in difficult moments, and that our pain can become a powerful testimony—proving that when God steps into a situation, He can bring life, restoration, and belief to others through it.
