Life, like the game Phase 10, is a process—you can’t skip steps or jump ahead just because you feel ready. The Israelites learned this the hard way. God had already given them the Promised Land, but fear stopped them in their tracks. They forfeited their turn, chose comfort over courage, and spent 40 years stuck in the wilderness. In Joshua 1, God re-issues the same opportunity—not as a first chance, but as the last one. The message is clear: don’t settle in the phase you’re in when God has called you forward. Finish the phase, move in faith, and take hold of the promise.
