Is the Power Back On?
Scripture: Matthew 6:6-9, Acts 1:6-8
Pastor challenged us to ask an important question: Is the power back on? Using Matthew 6 and Acts 1, we were reminded that God never called His people to live powerless. Like a blackout leaves people waiting for restoration, many believers are searching for strength, purpose, and authority they feel they’ve lost.
When the disciples asked Jesus when the kingdom would be restored, He shifted their focus from timing to power, declaring that the Holy Spirit would empower them to live boldly and be His witnesses. The message explored different kinds of power God gives His people — purpose power, miracle power, wealth power, fight power, and communication power.
We are challenged to honestly ask, “Where is my power?” and we are reminded that through the Holy Spirit, God still restores, strengthens, and empowers His people today.
