The Faith To Pray
The Faith To Pray
Scripture: Matthew 6:6-8, Mark 11:22-24
Faith is essential for every part of life, and one of the greatest ways we exercise our faith is through prayer. Jesus teaches us to “have faith in God” and boldly speak to the mountains in our lives, believing that God is able to move on our behalf.
We were challenged to stop talking more about our problems than we talk to God about them. Prayer isn’t meant to be performative—it’s personal. In Matthew 6, Jesus calls us to spend private time with God, bringing Him our honest thoughts, struggles, and desires.
The sermon encouraged us to rebuild a consistent prayer life, trust God fully, and remember that faith grows when we pray, believe, and watch God move openly in response to what was prayed in secret.
