OPERATIONAL UPDATE

March 13, 2020

At World Overcomers, the health and safety of our attendees and community at large is important to us. Due to concerns around COVID-19, we have decided to switch to a fully online format.

Services will be available for viewing at 9:30AM & 11:30AM on Sundays and 7PM on Wednesdays via:

We are blessed to be able to have access to technology that will allow us to remain connected during this time! We encourage those who will join us to gather around a TV, laptop, or mobile device, and participate in worship, give tithe or offering, read the scripture along with Pastor Andy and take notes as he teaches.

Our next steps will be guided by the advisories issued by our local government and health authorities. Please pay special attention to our social media posts and this page for further updates.

Watch a special message from Pastor Andy.

UNITED IN GIVING

WOCC UNITED GIVES

As a church, it is important that we remain UNITED and that we are still fulfilling our call to be light in dark times. This is even more vital as we navigate the challenges presented by the current COVID-19 pandemic. To this end, WOCC Projects of Hope has created the WOCC UNITED GIVES initiative. Our objective is to respond to the needs of our members and the community.  Here’s how:

STAY SAFE

We encourage you to follow these prevention tips:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after being in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.

  • Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care.

  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing; throw used tissues in the trash. If a tissue isn’t available, cough or sneeze into your elbow or sleeve, not your hands.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, handles, desks, computers, phones, keyboards, sinks, toilets and countertops.

  • If surfaces are dirty, clean them – use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection.

  • Wear a face mask if you are sick or have to care for someone who is sick.

Make sure you are getting reliable information from reliable sources. You can find updates on COVID-19 on the CDC website at cdc.gov/ coronavirus and guidance from the North Carolina Division of Public Health at ncdhhs.gov/coronavirus.
